A lot of these recordings are great, but with that many songs, there are bound to be a few not-so-great ones (and there are). But the good outnumbers the bad by a wide margin. This set is the best of everything! Versions of songs we never heard, unissued recordings and just a bountiful assortment of Sinatra at his very best!
A must for all Sinatra-fans (and everybody else) - I bought the Capitol concept box a year after Frank fast away and quickly started to sigh after this box but it was to expensive. Now. it can be bought new for 995 sek (140 $US ca.) at a web-shop here in sweden and there was no reason not to buy it any longer. I ve been a Sinatra fan for years now (got stuck on him about 10 years ago) and I have almost all of the reprisealbums on CD or LP already but this box gives you so much more, a glamorus box, very nice book, and it s limited edition. The only thing I don t understand is the order of the songs, Sinatra always put the songs in a order to form a concept and story for each album. That s gone and missing in this box. I have only had it for a couple of days now and havn t had the time to listen to the hole box yet but so far I m very pleased with the quality - it s actually clearer sound here than on the albums so they did a good job. Buy it, wether you are hooked on Sinatra or not, this is a big piece of popular music in the american musichistory

The original Winchester Chatedral is tired and corny but oh so cool by Frank and this is true of numerous inspired covers throughout this magnificent collection...this stunning leather edition is sadly the last edition available of this remarkable once-in-a-lifetime collection that will never happen again...how can one review such a massive historic and totally classic catalog such as this masterwork and do it justice?
